All my life I’ve waited for a love so powerful,
it sweeps me off my feet.
I’ve looked every where, through bitter cold
and burning heat.
But all I have found were closed hearts
and minds shut tight.
No love anywhere, not a heart aflame,
not a soul alight.
Where will I find this elusive love
for which I quest?
Is there a heart that will welcome me in
and pass the test?
Someday my dream will come true and then
