There’s a silver lining around my cloud today.
He told me last night that he loved me.
So now my cloud doesn’t seem so gray.
Only the other day another said good-bye
And it made my cloud dark and bleak.
But he caused my cloud to burst and rain,
Leaving behind it’s sad and lonely streak.
So now there’s a silver lining to my cloud.
I don’t know how long it will last,
If rain will follow or if sunshine will be allowed.
But for now there is that silver lining
Bringing hope to my heart and joy to my soul.
